Liam smiled and laughed a bit. "They do say the hardest part of riding is the ground," he pointed out, noting again that she was still nervous and clearly still a tad uncomfortable with the continued conversation. "I've usually got some free time, so I'd be happy to lend a hand if you need," he offered with a small smile. "I do stalls, feeding and watering in the morning and turn outs later in the day before night rolls in, and depending on the day, I have riding to do with my father, since he's my instructor as well. But any other time is typically what I have as free time to help out anyone on campus, ride on my own time, go out or whatever, so... I'd probably be free then or about those times." He shrugged, "I'm free now, if that'd catch your interest. I just put Remix out now because I'm done with him for the day."

"I can guarantee it." She grumbled with a smike, running an agitated hand through her hair. She hadn't kept a conversation this long in possibility years, she just wasn't used to it as she listened to him describe his typical day. "Easy days then, huh?" She chuckled, glancing at Toxic then Liam, gaze rolling between the two males. "Ooh, the gelding Toxic was showing off to was yours? Bonny thing." She commented, nodding her head and glancing towards him. "If you'd like. I'll give terror a quick brush, and we'll be rocking." The girl, with no further words, darted off to the tack room, reappearing a few moments later with a bag of brushes, a leather western saddle and matching black bridle. She moved fluidly, expertly brushing her stallion off and tacking him.up within minutes. "Ready?" She smiled, leading a prancing Toxic out of his box. It seemed he was already excited to get to work.

Liam grinned and nodded in agreement. "Yeah, wouldn't have it any other way," he said. He then nodded again to confirm that Remix was his, and before he could say any more, the blonde rushed off the clean up and tack up 'Terror', as he believed the stallion was being called now. He smiled at the newly discovered nickname. He leaned on a nearby stall door as the girl tacked up her devil and then smiled when the pair reappeared from out of the stall. "Yup," he said, "Which arena you wanna ride?"

Reins in one hand, lasso in the other, Lesley strode out with Toxic prancing knowingly beside her. "Shallow footing, outdoor. Easiest to roll on." She chuckled, keeping a steady hand on the jogging stallion. Toxic snorted, arching his neck and flicking his feet up neatly, tail swishing and swinging from side to side like a pendulum. "Oh, calm yaself down, stupid boy." She grumbled, swipinghis shoulder with the lasso as a warning. Not that he took any heed.

Once clear of the barn, Lesley didn't miss a stride. Taking a small step back, she was did one small skippity-hop and she was up, feet in stirrups and reins in one hand. Her blonde hair fanned out in the slight breeze, mimicking a flaxen tail as she chuckled, attempting to calm her mount down to a walk. "Excuse our messy style, but it seems he's raring to go today. So I'll probably be off more than thrice." She smiled, looking ahead at the path leading to the shallow footing arena.

Liam smiled and nodded, following after the prancing stallion and Lesley and continuing after them as rider mounted raring-to-go mount. "No trouble," he waved off Lesley's apology with a shrug, "I'll stay alert then," he added with a smile as he then started ahead of Toxic so he could get the gate to the arena when they finally reached it.

Lesley listened as Liam trailed the pair, the girl's hands working every so gently on the reins to try and confine her jogging mount to a walk. "Just thought I should warn ya." She chuckled, a smile gracing her features gently as she lookedon. Soon enough, Liam was speeding up to fetch the gate open. "Runnin' away so soon?" The girl teased, obviously a little more settled in the boy's presence then before.

Liam grinned as he then got the gate for rider and horse, turning back to face Lesley and Toxic with a smile when he swung the gate open. "Nah. Ain't no place for me to run to," he said, "I'm happy to stay here."

Lesley nodded understandingly. "And I'd have to run, oh Lord, too many miles to count." She grinned, shrugging and thanking him as they passed easily through the open gateway. "Plus, I live here now anyways." She mumbled with a sigh, aiding the feisty stud round at Azerbaijan finally, walk. She got him warmed up, calling. "Ready for some action?"

Liam smiled, following horse and rider into the arena and securing the gate again before finding a spot on the fence to push himself neatly up to the top rail, feet rested on the rail below him with hands supporting himself. He watched as Lesley warmed up Toxic and then smiled when she called to him, asking if he was ready. "Born ready, I guess!" he called back, "I'm ready when you are!'

(Wooah, excuse the weird word. Stupid autocorrect. xD)

"Then let's get this show on the road." She chuckled, trotting towards the centre and performing a flying dismount. Stood with a charming, lopsided smile plastered across her face, the girl sent Toxic wheeling off to the corner for him to spin and canter towards her. For a split second it looked like the two were about to collide. The girl stepped and bounced, catching the horn and using the momentum to swing herself easily into the saddle with the agility of a cat. Riding out to the middle, Lesley flexed into all sorts of positions, hanging off the grulla stallion anat one point even standing as he cantered round. But as she lowered herself once more into the saddle, he had a paddy.

Toxic snorted, ears suddenly flicking back as he heaved a back-wrenching, spine-curling buck, squealing like a maniac. "Damn." The blonde cursed once as her moun exploded, flinging hair and legs in every which way, kicking up sand and dust. At one point Lesley did look quite seasick as he slammed the brakes on, spinning and rearing before taking off. The girl sat quietly, sitting through his show as he stopped and huffed, nostrils flared, soaked in sweat, looking around. "Now, behave." She growled, copping him a quick cuff round the ears.

Liam watched as the pair did their thing, impressing him with the acrobatic feats of all sorts of positions on the grulla mount. For a few long moments, the young man simply watched, allowing himself to be amazed all over again by the partnership between horse and rider.

That was before the grulla was back to his 'demon' side and Liam tensed on the fence, ready to leap off the fence after the leaping, twisting stallion in case he managed to toss his rider, who did look a little throw, to say the least, for a while when the stud screached to a halt before spinning, rearing and wheeling off again. The male settled back as Lesley sat quietly on the back of the horse, who finally stopped, huffing and puffing like he was ready to blow the stables to the ground as he looked around. A smile tugged at his lips as rider cuffed horse around the ears. This is going to be quite interesting indeed, he told himself, warning his instincts all over again that the rider was used to it and he really should just wait until it was certain the situation called for an intervetion of one like himself who was not used to dealing with the stallion. With a slight shake of his head in personal amusement with his personal scolding, he turned his attention back to horse and rider, waiting to see if the stud had calmed himself any with his antics display,

(No trouble. xD I have that problem sometimes. Pain in the rear. lol)

(Yup, pretty much!)

Lesley let the stud catch his breath, sides heaving and lathered in sweat. "Is that better?" She growled, leaning low to snarl into his ear lobe. "Because I'm still here." Toxic merely shook himself and stood, looking brightly at Liam with an expression that clearly read, 'See? Aren't I a clever boy?' The blonde heaved a sigh and ask for an energetic walk to the middle of the ring, whipping off his saddle and leaving him stood merrily in the middle while chomping on his bit. "Okay, I may of also taught him a few circus tricks." She chuckled, walking back to Toxic and bowing low. The stallion slowly drew one foot beneath him and lent onto his knee, head tucked in. They both then stood and the blonde walked to her saddle, grabbing her lasso. "I mean, living on a ranch being homeschooled gives you a lot of free time. I mean, a lot."

Liam couldn't help but smirk as Toxic looked over at him, looking like he was expecting some kind of applause for his display of energy. To the horse's credit, it had been quite wild. He then smiled as he watched Lesley whip his saddle off, the stallion happily standing there while chomping at his bit, before walking back over and the pair performing a very nice bow. He smiled further at her words. "Well, if I'm to say anything, I am extremely impressed over here," he told her with a grin, "And I mean it when I say 'extremely.' You had me ready to leap off the fence, you know?" he added, directing his final question towards Toxic with a slight smirk.

Lesley chuckled, standing with her hand pressed to his neck gently. "Well, that means I haven't messed up yet." Smiling softly, she flashed him a quick look to catch his wolfish grin and his emphasis on how good their performance was. "Don't be so dramatic, he's just a toddler who has tantrums whenever he likes." She giggled, elbowing Toxic as she took a few steps away and relooped the lasso in her hands. With that, she began twirling it round and round, quicker and quicker, holding it aloft.

"Ever been taught to throw?" Lesley questioned, doing daft things such as spinning it round herself or moving it round her while spinning it. Toxic stood happily as she moved to vault on, standing on his back and spinning it round her. She really was just having fun now, grinning lopsidedly yet somehow charmingly.

(Sorry it's been forever since I responded. School is back and my life is nuts. Dx)

Liam grinned as he watched Lesley with Toxic, shaking his head in amusement with her relationship with the horse and her explanations of the horse's behaviour and how him being impressed meant she hadn't messed up yet. "A toddler?" he asked with a light smirk, "Pretty big toddler you have," he added jokingly with a nod to the stallion as Lesley began to twirl the lasso around and go off on another display of her skills.

This was an oppertunity he was glad he hadn't missed... "Just a little," he said honestly, smiling as he watched Lesley do her thing with the lasso and with Toxic, who looked pretty content to let his rider take the show for the moment since he'd had his time in the spotlight. "I've done a bit of work with Remix, but I wouldn't call it anything extraordinary."

Lesley gave a chuckle and nodded her head, patting Toxic's neck. "Yea, stoddy buggar. And now he's as good as an angel!" She huffed, shaking her head in disbelief as she stopped the lasso and jogged across to set it on the fence, offering a sift smile though the girl didn't raise her light eyes to his, turning quickly to backtrack to her blue dun who looked as if he were watching the blonde and forming a new plan.

"I'll teach you, if ya like. My papa said all men should at least be able to throw." She smiled, a quick flash of white teeth and a sparkle in her eye before she was mounted and trotting the moody stallion around. He seemed a little agitated again beneath his rider, stomping and flicking his full tail from side to side. Suddenly, a gunshot rung out from somewhere and the equine threw itself to the ground, and with it his rider. Lesley hit the ground, letting her body roll a few times before laying still. Neither moved.
