Dicidia Riding Acadmey is a horse academy founded ten years ago by horse enthusiasts Matthew "Matt" Lawson and Anthony Rodes. The Academy offers its services to any horse lovers and riders ages 14 years and older, and no experience is really required, as the Academy accepts all experience levels and can work you from the ground up if that's what you need.
Matt Lawson proposed the idea to Rodes, a close friend of Lawson's parents who was quite the horseman and rich in both knowledge, experience and money. Rodes agreed, and him and Lawson built the Academy from the ground up.
That was ten years ago, and Matt was only 26 at the time. Him and Rodes were pleased as they watched and handled the Academy as it grew and expanded, accepting students and their horses from anywhere they decided to come from.

The Academy now sprawls several double-digit acres, including winding forest trails that criss-cross streams and expansive paddocks. Deep footing is arranged in one outdoor arena near the main barn, used to host weekly gaming shows that Lawson happily runs his gelding in with the students and gaming and western lessons.
The Academy also sports a shallower footing arena for the fine arts of Dressage and Jumping, and this is where many lessons are held on the flat all the same. A large indoor ring can be entered from the main barn, and has deep enough footing to permit for indoor gaming when the weather's too hot or cold outside to run the horses.
It's a state of the art facility, with heating and cooling that maintains a comfortable living enviorment for also horses stabled, and boarding services are also provided.

Away from the barn, there is the paddocks, and also a training track for the more adventerous and speed-seeking students that would prefer to advance to the Horse Racing world as jockeys. Classrooms can also be found on campus for those seeking an education in the horse industry away from the action in the saddle on the back of the horse.
The goal of the Academy remains the same as the day it became a thought and possibility: to share the passion, love and knowledge of the world of the horse to any who are willing to listen and learn it, and love it.
